We will not revealing the story here. But definitely give you our opinion about the movie.
Directed by Vijay Kumar Arora, Harjeeta is a Punjabi film based on the true story of Harjeet Singh, an Indian professional hockey player, who captained the Indian squad at the 2016 Men’s Hockey Junior World Cup. His family, like many families in this country, was struggling with poverty. The film traces Harjeet’s journey taking on from his humble background, and despite being dumped by his love interest (just because he didn’t have a cup at home to serve her tea), to winning the world cup for India. The Indian Hockey team that year went unbeaten throughout the tournament, eventually winning the Gold medal after 15 years and giving birth to a true sports legend.
The screenplay of the film has been done by Jagdeep Sidhu, while Gurmeet Singh has given the music of the film. Harjeeta has been produced by Nick Bahl, Munish Sahni, and Bhagwant Virk. Ammy Virk’s Performance Truly Inspired. He Transformed his body for this project and we can see he did a Great Job. After the Comedy Movies like “Bamnbukaat” “Nikka Zaildar” both parts. He played wonderful role of Harjeet Singh Tulli in serious mode.
The film puts across a wonderful message about how talent can find its way up even from the most humble or impoverished places. I really like the film and would suggest everyone to watch it. Two songs which standout in the movie are ‘Kinna Pyaar’ and ‘Dekhi Chal’. The latter, sung in the voice of Daler Mehandi, is an archetype song which forms the backbone of a sports-based movie.
